Summary: This interim committee was created due to the passage of S.C.R. 146 during the 2018 legislative session. The committee has been charged to undertake and complete a study of Occupational Licensing and Certification Laws and Rules in Idaho.
Status: The Interim Occupational Licensing and Certification Laws Committee was scheduled to meet April 24; however, the meeting was cancelled. A hearing will likely be rescheduled, however that decision is at the discretion of the co-chairs, Senator Todd Lakey (R) and Representative Gayann DeMordaunt (R).
