Regulation ID: WY35728
Issue: Council for Fire Prevention and Electrical Safety departmental discussion on 2018 International Code Council Codes
Affects: Those who build pools & spas
Send comments to:Jennifer Hatfield, firstname.lastname@example.org
Rule Summary:The Council proposed amendments that would adopt the 2018 International Code Council (ICC) codes, including the 2018 International Building Code, 2018 International Existing Building Code, 2018 International Fire Code, 2018 International Mechanical Code, and the 2018 International Fuel Gas Code. A public hearing has not been scheduled, but one will be held if requested by 25 people, a government subdivision, or an association with at least 25 members. The IRC and IBC refer to the International Swimming Pool & Spa Code; therefore, it may be adopted by reference, but APSP members in Wyoming wanting to assist us with encouraging the ISPSC be adopted as a standalone code should contact us.
Status:The effective date of the rules are 5/23/2018.
