Send comments to: Jennifer Hatfield, firstname.lastname@example.org
Bill Summary: This bill concerns appliance efficiency standards, updating the current law by adding new items, changing requirements and deleting items. Specific to the pool & spa industry, the bill removes pool heaters from the list (most likely because there are federal requirements), continues to reference 2009 Title 20 CEC requirements for residential pool pumps, and updates portable spa requirements. The portable spa requirements will change from 2009 Title 20 CEC requirements to compliance with the 2014 edition of the APSP-14 Standard for Energy Efficiency for Portable Spas on January 1, 2020.
Status: Prefiled December 26.
