Rule Summary: The Division proposed amendments to rules related to construction trade licensing, including amendments pertaining to swimming pool and spa contractors.  Under R156-55a-301, addressing scope of practice of license classifications, S380 notes that a swimming pool and spa contractor scope of permitted work does not include plumbing or electrical trade work. Under R156-55a-302a, dealing with licensure qualifications and examinations, appears to eliminate an exam requirement for a swimming pool and spa contractor.

Status: The rules have an effective date of November 7.
