Issue:  L.C. 1851 – MANAGING INDIVIDUALS OF CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS

Bill Summary:  This measure allows a construction contractor or business to temporarily continue operation after they lose a managing individual. Under this measure the contractor or business must send written notice to the Construction Contractors Board no later than three business days after the contractor or business ceases to have a responsible managing individual. The notice must contain the name of the former responsible managing individual, the date the person ceased to be the responsible managing individual for the contractor or business and any other information required by the board. The board shall inform the contractor or business of the date by which the board must receive written notice identifying a new responsible managing individual for the contractor or business.
