Bill Summary: This bill relates to professional licensure during a state of emergency.
A person who is a resident of a state other than Florida, who is displaced by a natural disaster and relocates to Florida during a state of emergency declared in response to a natural disaster by a governing authority having jurisdiction over the area in which the person resides, is exempt from all application and licensing fees required for obtaining: an individual professional license issued for a regulatory purpose by an agency of this state to engage in an occupation or to carry out a trade or business.
The exemption granted by this section shall remain in effect until 30 days after the state of emergency declared is terminated.
