Issue: HB 2196 – Building Codes
Affects: Those who build pools and spas.
Bottom Line: The formation of this Council is important for members in that this Council will have a hand in construction code regulations. The Council make-up is included in this legislation and adding a pool/spa person would be beneficial, especially if working toward statewide adoption of the ISPSC is something members are interested in doing.
