Summary: The City Commission will consider the first reading of an ordinance to adopt the 2012 IECC with local amendments published by the ICC. The State is requiring the City adopt the newer version of the IECC as soon as possible.
APSP members are encouraged to attend the meeting and support adoption of the 2012 IECC. Pool and spa provisions in the 2012 IECC include the APSP 14 standard for portable spa energy efficiency and the APSP 15 standard for residential pool and inground spa energy efficiency whereas later IECC editions do not include these standards, which coincide with the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC).
Status: The Brentwood Board of Commissioners will hold a meeting July 23, 2018 at 7:00PM.
