To earn this certification, APSP members must successfully complete a standardized written examination that measures and verifies their knowledge of residential pool and spa construction. They must also complete continuing education requirements on an ongoing basis in order to maintain their certification.
Choosing a Professional Builder
Making a decision about building a pool or spa is not only an investment for your home, but one that adds years of family fun and togetherness. Protect yourself and your investment by using an APSP member builder. The APSP Builders Council has prepared a brochure for you entitled “Choosing a Professional Builder” which emphasizes the importance of using an APSP member to protect your investment and your family. APSP members abide by a strict code of ethics, are professionals that follow safety requirements, and many hold advanced certifications, such as the CBP (Certified Building Professional).
