Atlantic City Pool & Spa Show Next Week

Start 2008 by attending the Northeast Spa & Pool Association’s (NESPA) Atlantic City Pool & Spa Show from January 29-31. Join over 12,000 pool & spa professionals in Atlantic City, NJ for an exciting conference that includes for the first time, a separate Commercial Product Exhibition Area and Seminar Track, attracting new attendees from the commercial pool sector, such as property management companies, hotels/motels landscape architects, fitness facilities, etc.

The conference educational track offers some of the best courses in the industry, and this year will emphasize safety issues such as alarms, suction entrapment prevention and diving board certification. You can also sign up for Mastering the Craft, Act II: Form and Function of Water Features, without having taken Act I.

For qualified builders and service technicians, APSP will offer the CBP, CSP, and Service Proficiency Exams on Tuesday, January 29; to sign up for these APSP exams, contact Bird Dawson (bdawson@APSP.org or 703.647.2543).

A CBP Exam Refresher Course has been scheduled on January 28-29 in Atlantic City. For information about the refresher course, contact Pat Cava (pcava@nespapool.org or 732.972.9111).

The Certified Pool/Spa Operator course also will be offered in Atlantic City. Sign up for one of the interactive, hands-on, all-day Monday workshops, Hot Seat Marketing or Electronic Hot Tub Component Repair. Sessions are also offered in diving board certification, pool alarms, suction entrapment, pets and pool safety, and CPR and First Aid Training. For details about the show, click here.
