The APSP Member Focus on Consumer and User Safety
The safe and enjoyable use of pools, spas, and hot tubs is a priority for APSP members. Each year, APSP members fund an extensive public service safety communications campaign. APSP water safety messages reach more than 32 million U.S. households – an effort in which APSP members take pride.

APSP History and Affiliations
APSP was formerly known as the National Spa & Pool Institute (NSPI) and was established more than 50 years ago in 1956. Our website is APSP.org . Our two regional affiliates are Northeast Spa & Pool Association ( www.nespapool.org ) and Florida Swimming Pool Association (www.floridapoolpro.com ).
