Identity Theft Protection
Identity theft is the fastest growing crime in the US; one identity is stolen every 2.1 seconds. There is a safe and simple way to prevent this from happening. APSP has partnered with LifeLock, the leader in preventing identity theft. LifeLock’s services allow you to protect yourself, your family, and your business. Because you are a member of APSP, you are eligible for an immediate discount. Please call 800.543.3562, or go to the LifeLock website and use the promotional code APSP. Finally! A Survey Poll That Can Make a Difference
In the year-plus lead-up to the 2008 Presidential election, the public has been asked their opinion on every conceivable question. Now APSP is getting into the spirit with a brief survey of our own. The APSP Career Institute is seeking member input on some general questions relating to next year’s professional development programming. Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts about the employee development needs of your organization. We promise, there won’t be any of those annoying pre-recorded follow-up phone calls from any Presidential candidates—just solid programming for your most pressing professional development needs!
Please click here, download and fill out this APSP Education Survey, and fax it back to APSP at 703.549.0493 by Friday, April 18, 2008. Thank you.

InHealthNW, March/April 2008:“Say Ahhhhhh… Soaking in a Hot Tub Not Only Feels Good, It May Be Healthy, Too”
A recent article in the March/April 2008 issue of InHealthNW takes a look at the health effects of hot tubs, calling them an excellent form of alternative medicine. The article discusses a two-year study of hydrotherapy, conducted at Washington State University, that was jointly funded by the National Swimming Pool Foundation and members of the Hot Tub industry. The article strongly supports warm-water therapy as a positive component in human health. InHealth NW is a bimonthly magazine covering the Eastern Washington-North Idaho area.
