Consumer and User Safety Information

The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) provides the most complete information available anywhere to consumers on the benefits of ownership and responsible use of industry products, including maintenance and safety tips for pools, spas, and hot tubs, as well as finding the right dealer for you in your geographic area, information on financing your investment, and so much more.

Consumer Websites
        PoolPeopleUSA.com
        HotTubLiving.com

Kids' Website
APSP sponsors a special website, SplashZoneUSA.com, dedicated to educating children and supervising adults about pool and hot tub safety. It’s an entertaining and educational site promoting safety first! Visit the site with your children, enjoy the games, and teach them the importance of pool safety.

Consumer Brochures
The APSP has a variety of brochures and booklets with a wealth of information about pools, spas, and hot tubs. If you would like to have these brochures mailed to you, please call 1.800.323.3996.
You can also download the brochures by clicking here.

Consumer Safety Checklist
APSP also offers a checklist of safety measures that we encourage pool, spa, and hot tub owners to use in making sure that their installations are as safe as possible. Owners of older pools, spas, and hot tubs are encouraged to have their installation evaluated by an APSP member to learn of new technologies and equipment that can enhance safety. Just type your zip code in the APSP.org Member Locator to find an APSP member in your area.
